At Restoration Housing, we're using our development model to save Roanoke's distressed, historic properties while preserving the social character of neighborhoods that have long suffered from disinvestment and blight. By bringing life back to these empty spaces, we are helping to reduce crime and vandalism and restore a sense of dignity, safety, and pride of place in under-served neighborhoods.
The high-quality rehabilitation of these historic structures also creates much-needed affordable rental units so that our tenants are neither cost-burdened nor compromised in their living conditions, placing them in a position to improve their day to day lives and plan for the future. By promoting the preservation and stewardship of affordable rental housing, we're working to eradicate vacancies, stabilize local neighborhoods, and provide safe, affordable accommodations for families and individuals who call Roanoke home.
