In 2023, Restoration Housing formed a partnership with Carilion Clinic and Anderson Treatment to reestablish the services formerly provided by Bethany Hall to treat pregnant and postpartum women with substance use disorder and their infants. Restoration Housing secured 1729 Patterson Avenue for this purpose in early 2024 through an acquisition grant provided by Aetna Better Health of Virginia. Although the house is in relatively good condition, a complete renovation is needed to bring it up to code for this type of use. Once complete in early 2025, the property will be affordably leased to the newly established Twelve Foundation who will oversee the day to day operation of the facility.

"I can't help but think how many lives would have been saved had we had a facility like The Grove on Patterson sooner."
