We were thrilled to welcome back volunteers for our 6th Annual Community Partnership Day, presented by Freedom First Credit Union, at 820 Dale Avenue in Southeast Roanoke! On October 23, our volunteers cleared brush, installed landscaping, mulched, established walkways, spread grass seed and laid sod through generous donations by Lavery’s Sod Farm Inc., Varsity Landscaping & Grounds, LLC, Hist:Re Partners, Lowe’s Home Improvement, and TOWNSIDE GARDENS. We had a wonderful turnout from the community and organizations such as the Southeast Action Form, Home Depot, and the Roanoke Valley Preservation Foundation. This day corresponded with the Tim Dayton Day of Service, honoring a great community member through the #joyofservice.
