Roanoke has a rich, storied past—the streets of our Historic Districts are lined with timeless buildings. Though the passage of time has left many of these structures abandoned, forgotten, and in disrepair, we see them for what they really are: opportunities for a new beginning.
At Restoration Housing, we believe that all people deserve to live in safe, strong communities with access to dignified housing. Since 2014, we’ve been focused on preserving neglected historic structures, rehabilitating them to their former splendor, and converting them into safe, affordable rental properties for low-income individuals and families.
By restoring these buildings and opening their doors to those in need, we hope to strengthen our community and preserve the history and integrity of our area—for now and for generations to come.
